Common Threads is a community of caring and inviting people who share their God-given talent of knitting with a prayerful ministry to reach out to people in need of comfort and solace. Our gift of a prayer a shawl to those experiencing illness, loss, sorrow and joy is to know God's loving embrace and feel safe and warm in God's presence. This ministry is a godsend to those involved as they find peace and relaxation in the creation of a gift made with love and given with love.
We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 1-3pm at Trinity - Lynnwood. Evening gatherings may be scheduled if there is enough interest. Experts and beginning knitters (and everyone in between!) are welcome to join us.
