As stewards, we are called to be a caring people, living in harmony with the environment, including all its inhabitants, respecting and honoring the gifts of God's creation. Our mission is to conserve and protect the earth's resources. We pledge to take actions to increase our understanding, celebration, and stewardship of God's good earth in home, congregation, and community.
Our goals:
- Becoming involved with Earth Ministry and other groups' activities.
- Promoting and advocating for protection of the environment in laws and public policy.
- Encouraging earth-friendly yard and garden practices, such as the use of native and drought-resistant plants.
- Stewardship of God's creation at Trinity Lutheran Church in our personal lives by sharing information about and encouraging the simple lifestyle changes we can make.
