How Trinity Works
Three key desires lay at the foundation of our organization:
- To grow in our care and support of our neighbors and each other;
- To create more opportunities for more people to share their God-given gifts in ministries that move their hearts and hands, and inspire their minds and spirits;
- To remove barriers between ministry groups in order to grow the over-all effectiveness of our ministries.
Those desires have led us to a structure with three key characteristics:
- A leaner, less hierarchical structure with fewer boards and committees, and more hands-on ministry groups;
- An environment in which permission is given and initiative encouraged;
- A collaborative structure based on sharing information and resources, instead of exercising authority and control.
