The A Wider Table Week 2 - Come to the Table
📖 Readings: Isaiah 25:1–9 (NRSVUE); Matthew 22:1–14 (NRSVUE)
This week in A Wider Table, Trinity Lutheran Church & Schools explores Come to the Table, a Sunday about unconditional welcome. Isaiah paints a vision of a banquet on God's mountain where grief itself is undone, and Psalm 23 reminds us that God sets a table for us even in our hardest seasons. In Matthew's parable of the wedding banquet, the invitation goes out to everyone, and belonging comes before anyone has to prove they belong. This is a Sunday for anyone who has ever wondered if there was room for them. There is. Join us in worship as we celebrate a grace wide enough for every person in the room.
