“The Inventory of Shards” is the space where our fractures feel most exposed. In the desert, we are stripped of our usual distractions, and our deep hungers—for security, for significance, for control—begin to scream.

This week is a provocative look at how we try to “fix” our own brokenness. We explore the “Addiction of Autonomy”—the belief that we can satisfy our soul’s thirst by grabbing at things that promise power or comfort but ultimately leave us more shattered. The wilderness is not a place of punishment, but a place of clarity, where we face the truth of what we actually rely on to keep ourselves “whole.”
