In the Kintsugi tradition, the “flaw” is not something to be tolerated; it is the focal point. This week, we challenge the Cult of the Unblemished. We live in a world that discards what is chipped, cancels what is complicated, and overlooks what is small. This is a provocative exploration of Divine Perspective. We move from “cleaning” our shards to truly beholding them. We explore the inclusive truth that God’s gaze does not skip over our brokenness to find our “potential”—God gazes at the fracture and sees the architecture of grace. We shift from “fixing” our sight to “transforming” our vision, learning to see the gold in the very places the world has called “waste.”
