At our Annual Congregational meeting last week, members voted overwhelmingly to hire church generosity consultants at Generis to assist us in a major capital and stewardship campaign to launch this Fall. Soon, you will get to meet Jennifer Perrow and Pastor Kristen Capel, who will help guide and coach staff and lay leaders through a process that will accelerate our congregation’s generosity towards our vision of Building Belonging Becoming.
This summer Generis will be conducting a feasibility study in order to ascertain our congregation’s capacity to fund our current capital and operating needs and begin the planning process for our three year campaign.
However, you don’t have to wait until this Fall to make a donation to our capital roof and siding project plans. Since the significant flooding event on January 1, we’ve received over $30,000 in spontaneous donations towards this effort. Monies raised now will be kept in a dedicated Capital Campaign account and will be noted as part of this Fall’s emphasis.
There is an option to donate to this fund in our online giving, or if you prefer to give via check, just note in subject line “Capital Campaign” or similar and it will go toward this effort.
