I hope by now you’ve had a chance to engage with our new worship series, "Beguiled by Beauty: Cultivating a Life of Contemplation & Compassion” which began this past Sunday. Throughout this series, I’ll be sending out a weekly email that highlights various Faith Formation opportunities and materials designed to enrich your experience. I encourage you to take some time to explore these resources and discover the sacred depths hidden within the beauty that surrounds us.
Grace to You,

Weekly Contemplative Practice for Young Worshippers (of all ages!!)
Contemplative practices are like special ways to talk and listen to God. It's like having a quiet time with a good friend where you share your heart and listen to what they have to say. We can find God in everything around us, and these special ways help us to notice and appreciate God's love.
These weekly exercises are written for and used as the Young Worshipper’s message during the Sunday worship gathering, but are great for all ages!
Check out last Sunday’s handout, and spend a few minutes in contemplation:
Video Interview with Wendy Farley
Each week, the Sunday Adult Faith Formation class will be watching a ~30min video interview with the author of Beguiled by Beauty, Wendy Farley that explores the weekly themes of the series.
This week highlighted the ideas of contemplative practice as an interior transformation and how even 10 seconds of reflection on beauty can reset your outlook and attitudes.
After watching, check out the Guided Reflection Journal, which has prompts and questions for contemplation and reflection on the week’s themes:
