Diversity & Inclusion

belonging in Christ

So What?

Inspired by the love of Jesus Christ, we commit to celebrating the God-given dignity of all people. We build relationships and collaborate with others to advocate for meaningful change. Our goal is to create lasting structures and practices that make our community a place where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered to thrive.

Values

We joyfully acknowledge that every individual's unique background, culture, and experience is a cherished part of God's creation. By bringing our differences together, we create a vibrant and complete picture of God's love.

Focus

God has brought a diversity of gifts, perspectives, and cultures to our community, and we celebrate how each person reflects God's image. We actively work to ensure that people from all backgrounds are visible and have a voice.

DIM Message Board Posting Guidelines.

To keep our communication clear and effective, we ask all ministry leaders and community members to follow these guidelines when submitting content to be posted on the DIM message board (located in the Trinity narthex):

  1. Approval Process: All flyers must be submitted to the Communication Steward or can be put in the DIM mailbox for approval before being posted. Unapproved items will be removed.

  2. Size Limits: To ensure space for everyone, flyers must be no bigger than 8.5" x 11". Larger posters require special permission and will be displayed for a limited time.

  3. Duration: Events will be posted for a maximum of 4 weeks leading up to the date. Ongoing programs will be updated seasonally.

  4. The "Sweep": Every Monday, any flyers for events that occurred the previous weekend will be removed to make room for new opportunities.

  5. Community Postings: Items not directly related to church ministries may be placed in the designated "Community News" section only, pending approval.

  6. Visual Standards: We encourage typed, high-quality flyers. If you need help designing a flyer, please contact the Communication Steward two weeks in advance.
