Does your family have a second grader — or an older elementary student who hasn't yet attended a First Communion class? We'd love to hear from you!
First Communion is a meaningful stepping stone on the path of discipleship at TLCS, and this year's class is a wonderful opportunity for your child to explore and deepen their understanding of this sacred practice, whether they've already been receiving communion or are preparing to for the first time. While we typically offer this class for second graders, any elementary-age child who hasn't had the chance to attend is warmly welcome.
The class will meet on Sunday, June 7 after worship for about 90 minutes. One of the highlights: the children bake bread together, which is then used on June 14, First Communion Sunday.
