Weekly Report + November 4, 2023

The First Saturday of the month is typically quiet but our pantry still served a crowd. They gave groceries and fresh foods to 63 Neighbors and 2 families came in for family boxes.

Thank you to Cathy, Tony, and Marsella, Trinity's breakfast team for a BUNCH of burritos. We needed them all.

Thank you to the many of you who donated winter clothing!! Our Neighbors were especially grateful for warm and dry garments on such a stormy day.

Prayer Requests

  • Michael asks us to offer prayers of thanks. He was hit by a car while riding his bicycle. He is grateful that there were no deep injuries but he is still very sore.

  • Also pray for Jack. Again, prayers of thanks for the successful removal of a large cancer on his face. He asks for prayers for patience as he faces a year of reconstructive surgery.

A reminder that we are entering the holiday season. We are planning a Christmas celebration for our Neighbors on December 16. Donations of socks, gloves, hand warmers, and underwear are especially welcome.

We wish you safety and warmth

Joan
