Organ Recital: J. Murphy-Mancini

As Holy Week begins, Trinity’s Artists at the Organ series welcomes Justin J. Murphy-Mancini for an evocative Palm / Passion / Easter–inspired organ recital. This program traces the emotional arc of the season—from procession and praise to lament, mystery, and resurrection—through music that spans centuries of the organ’s rich tradition.

Justin J. Murphy-Mancini is a nationally recognized keyboardist, composer, and sacred musician whose performances are known for their depth, imagination, and clarity. Equally at home in early repertoire and modern works, he brings rare insight into under-heard music alongside beloved sacred themes. His work as an organist, harpsichordist, and collaborator has taken him to prominent venues across the country, and his recordings and premieres reflect a deep commitment to both historical and contemporary voices.
