Life at Trinity.
At Trinity Lutheran Church & Schools, membership is more than a formality—it's about finding a spiritual home where all are welcome to belong, grow, and serve in faith. While our constitution outlines the definitions and responsibilities of members, we also emphasize that Trinity is a community rooted in grace, compassion, and the love of Jesus, open to all who seek a deeper connection with God and others.
At Trinity, we believe that everyone—whether lifelong Lutherans or new seekers—is valued as part of our community. We encourage all members to make regular use of the gifts of worship, learning, and service, living out their faith in ways that reflect the love of God.
Trinity is a place where you can be rooted in faith and grow in community. All are welcome here, and we are committed to journeying together, sharing in God’s abundant grace, and building a future full of hope and love.

Connect with Trinity.
Whether you’ve recently started participating—either in-person or online—or have been with us for a while, you are invited to join Pastor Hector and other congregational leaders in exploring what it means to follow Christ and join in God’s mission through the ministries of Trinity Lutheran Church & Schools. While these sessions are designed for those considering membership, anyone curious about learning more about Trinity is welcome and encouraged to attend.
The journey includes two 90-min sessions:
-
Session I covers the basics of the Lutheran understanding of the Christian faith.
-
Session II covers the narrative of TLCS' ministry journey and how the congregation believes in God's mission in this place, now and into the future.
Next offering: May 3 (Session I) and May 10 (Session II) at 10 AM
Types of Membership.
Baptized Members are those who have entered into the family of faith through baptism, whether at Trinity or another Christian congregation. Baptism marks a lifelong journey of faith, and we welcome those who wish to continue this journey with us.
Confirmed Members have publicly affirmed their faith, committing to growing in their relationship with God and their engagement in the life of the congregation. Whether through adult baptism, confirmation, or transferring from another Lutheran community, confirmed members are an integral part of our shared mission.
Voting Members are confirmed members who actively participate in the life of the congregation through worship, communion, and stewardship. These members have the privilege of voice and vote in shaping the ministry and direction of our church.
We also recognize the contributions of Associate Members—those who maintain membership in another Christian congregation but choose to participate in Trinity's mission—and Seasonal Members who join us for specific times of the year while retaining membership elsewhere. All are invited to find their place within the vibrant life of Trinity, regardless of formal status.
Full and official descriptions can be found in Chapter 8 of Trinity's constitution.
