Neighbors in Need Report + August 1, 2026

It was all about Team Trinity this morning They were our cooks, burrito assemblers and servers. Those who weren't cooking did double duty in the pantry and in clothing. And what about these three? They washed all the dishes, pots and pans and were still smiling at the end of the day. It was a morning of serving generously.

Breakfast included burritos, of course, plus eggs, hash browns, sausage and fruit juice. Team Trinity served 152 plates

Once again, there were many new faces among our guests. They are cautious and often defensive when they enter. What must it be like to be hungry yet unsure that you welcome?

Our pantry served 92 Neighbors and 3 families this morning. On behalf of each of those Neighbors and families, we say thank you to Edmonds Food Bank and Advocates Recovery Services!!

Good news 🙂 🙂Our clothing bank has a new partnership. Members of St Philopateer and St Demiana Coptic Orthodox congregation have been active at Neighbors in Need for several years. They recently consulted with Rick and Peggy and are now regularly serving. Their team delivered at least 50 pairs of new shoes this morning and were busy serving from setup clear through breakdown.
