We could call it an "average" fourth Saturday of the month. We know that we will have a large guest count will including several new faces. Each "average" becomes memorable as we listen to fears or anger, and often to good news. Each guest is welcomed and their feelings affirmed.

World Mosquito Day
World Mosquito Day is observed on August 20 each year to highlight the ongoing threat posed by mosquitoes, which are responsible for transmitting deadly diseases such as malaria, dengue, Chikungunya, Zika, and yellow fever.


August is International Peace Month
International Peace Month was first observed in August 1926, when leaders from around the world gathered in Germany to discuss peace efforts in the wake of the First World War. Nearly a century later, this month still serves as a reminder that the work of peace is ongoing and that each of us has a role to play.
