What's the yellow stuff in all of those pitchers? That's actually bazillions of eggs that our Pemco Insurance friends cooked into most welcome scrambled eggs.
Pemco employees, their friends and family members prepared at least 250 early morning breakfasts of scrambled eggs, hash brown patties, sausage links, oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins, and fruit juices. Our hungry crowd were sure grateful.

Our pantry served a smaller number. We had a very large attendance, but holiday generosity has helped our Neighbors with food necessities. They provided grocery bags for 62 Neighbors.
We rarely mention Franz bakery, but they are generous donors to Neighbors in Need every single week. They are intentional to have a variety of breads, bagels, English muffins, etc. Something to please everyone. This week, they had made a point of setting aside holiday pastries for our Neighbors. Thank you, Jude for creating this partnership.
Neighbors in Need will celebrate Christmas with our Neighbors on Saturday, December 20. Volunteers will assemble gift bags to be handed to each guest. Gloria Dei Lutheran, Holy Rosary Catholic, Pemco, North Sound Christian, Lynnwood Kiwanis, Lynnwood Unity, and Edmonds Unitarian Congregation, Advocates Recovery Services and Trinity Lutheran Church and Schools (this is definitely an incomplete list!) have all generously supported Christmas for our Neighbors through giving trees, gift donations and financial support. South Snohomish County is all about generosity.

Once again, the medical team from Advocates Recovery Services were on hand to care for and consult with our Neighbors. In so many cases, through their consulting, they make personal medical care a worthwhile option for our Neighbors.

Special prayers for Millie. She is a 17 year old young woman has recently chosen to live on the street rather risk potential violence in her recently broken home. We introduced her to Cocoon House. They will pick her up at the Hygiene Center for safe shelter and age appropriate counsel. Let's pray for her safety and thank God for the strength He gave her to make tough decisions.
With gratitude for warmth,
Joan
