It was truly a joy to have team St. Philopater St Demiana with us this morning. Not only did they prepare and serve breakfast but also served in the clothing bank and pantry as well as being caring listeners among our Neighbors. As the photo shows, they brought the cutest burrito server Neighbors in Need has ever "employed". She worked the full shift and always with warm chatter.
What a fun morning!

Our guest count was a bit smaller this morning. The pantry served 70 Neighbors. It is important to note that our family count remained at our new high of five. We expect that number to creep up in the coming weeks.
Special thanks to Advocates Recovery Services for bringing two nurses this morning. Our Neighbors were grateful for their care.
Praise God for good news!
Dwight has accepted employment. He will have full-time work at $40.00 an hour.
Tom and his mother (She is 81) will soon be out of their car and moving into housing in California. A family member has gifted them with airline tickets and shelter in their home. Let's pray that the warm relationship will be long lasting.
We celebrate all mothers, including the worried mothers of the homeless and lonely and homeless moms who cannot care for their own children. God be with you.
With thanks,
Joan
