Neighbors in Need Report + May 9, 2026

It was "burritos to go" this morning. Our Neighbors just stopped by to fix themselves their normal coffee/chocolate/creamer/sugar beverage (yuck!!), grab a burrito, say thanks and head out the door into the sunshine.

It was a good day to be a light day. Our volunteers took on new to them tasks. Their flexibility created a good morning for our Neighbors.

Our Neighbors did take a minute to stop by the pantry. They gave groceries, salads and homemade sandwiches to73 Neighbors and gave one family box.

Thank you, Edmonds Unitarian Universalist Congregation for burritos! They were the perfect take out this morning. As always, your monthly gifts of oranges, tuna and cheese sticks are a very big deal. We're grateful.

CLOTHING BANK NEWS

Our clothing bank leadership are not available for the next few weeks. Until we can recruit a mid-week organizing team, we cannot accept clothing donations. We seriously need clothing, especially men's. We'll be up and running in just a couple of weeks. If you can hold donations for a short while, we will certainly welcome your generosity.

Thank you to nurses Gail and Bailey for your care for our Neighbors. There was constant business at your table during the entire morning.

Thank you to everyone as your support our Neighbors
