Introducing Pastor Pamela Miles - Care Pastor Candidate of Choice

The members of the Care Pastor Call Committee are thrilled to announce that after prayerful discernment and multiple interviews, we have selected Pastor Pamela Miles as our candidate of choice for the position of Care Pastor in our congregation. We prayed for God to lead us to the right candidate, and we believe our prayers were answered!
We invite you to join us for a special gathering to meet Pastor Pam on Saturday, November 14, at 4 PM at Trinity. This will be an opportunity to connect with Pastor Pam, share in fellowship, and learn more about her passion for pastoral care and her personal faith journey. A special meeting of the congregation and vote will be held on Sunday, November 22, following worship, at 11:30 AM.
Pastor Pam brings a strong background in pastoral care and is an excellent communicator. She connected well with each of us, and we are confident she will work well with our pastoral care teams, church members, and staff.
Pastor Pam obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Trinity Lutheran College and then attended Luther Seminary in Minnesota, where she obtained her Master of Divinity. She previously served as pastor at Pointe of Grace Lutheran Church in Mukilteo and as vicar at Phinney Ridge Lutheran Church. She also served as director of children, youth and family ministry at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Everett for ten years.
We enjoyed listening to examples of her preaching and speaking, and we are sharing links below so that you might listen as well.
Many of Pastor Pam’s past worship services and sermons, including memorial services, are on the Pointe of Grace Lutheran Church YouTube channel under “Live” (2019 through January 2026):
