Introducing the 2026-27 TLCS Concert Series: Sacred Music & Sacred Space
Music has always been one of the ways God draws us near. This season, Trinity opens the Sanctuary for four featured afternoon performances, inviting our neighbors and friends into moments of divine beauty, transcendent art, and shared fellowship.
The series begins on November 22 with organist David Buice’s Darkness into Light, a meditation on Bach’s chorale preludes that follows the church year from Advent’s quiet expectation toward the brilliance of Easter. On January 10, the Pacific Lutheran University Faculty String Quartet brings fresh intimacy to Bach’s Goldberg Variations, preceded by a pre-concert lecture from Deacon David Horton to deepen your listening. On April 11, organist Kevin Vogt leads a memorial tribute to master organbuilder Martin Pasi, honoring his life and craft through the voice of Trinity’s own Pasi Opus 4. And on May 9, Deacon-Elect David and guest artists close the season with The Divine Choreography, a celebration of faith in dance rhythms, shifting meters, and holy stillness.
All concerts begin at 3:00 PM on Sunday afternoons. Suggested donation is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students (pay as able). Come for one, or come for all four.
