The mission of the Trinity Endowment Fund Committee is to support religious activities and purposes within the church and the broader community. Distributions made by the Endowment Committee are directed in the following categories:

  • Support ministries in Christian education

  • Support outreach ministries in the congregation

  • Provide emergency assistance to those in need

  • Provide scholarships to students attending institutions of higher learning

  • Donor-directed uses as appropriate to the administration and use of the Endowment Fund

The Trinity Endowment Fund, as a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church & Schools, provides donors an opportunity to support either a specific mission or a broad range of Christian missions or college endeavors. The Endowment Fund receives assets from donations, testamentary gifts, memorials, bequests and other sources.  

Previous Endowment distributions have been used for local and global missions, group ministry support, student scholarships and much more.


Investments & Donations


The Endowment Fund is invested in the ELCA Ministry Growth Fund which follows the ELCA's guidelines for socially responsible investing. The Endowment Fund is a perpetual fund from which earnings are distributed annually.

How to Apply

Fill out and submit the combined online form, which gives the option to choose which grant you are applying for.


For academic scholarships, two letters of recommendation are due by April 15.  These letters can be directly uploaded with the application, mailed to the Trinity office ATTN: Endowment Fund or emailed to
