Neighbors in Need Report + February 14, 2026

Our guests were certainly in the mood for burritos this morning. As they came in the asked if the burritos were ready. Even before they got their coffee!

Our team from Edmonds Universalist Unitarian Congregation must have had "a feeling". They made up extras and every single one was gone well before the end of the morning. EUUC, every month, brings a full month's supply of tuna packets, oatmeal packets, cold cereal packets, string cheese and oranges. That's a bunch of nutrition for our Neighbors. They thank you.

Of course, the pantry had another busy day - 94 grocery bags, plus offerings of peanut butter, bread, soups, and the beloved hoagie sandwiches. Thank you, Edmonds Food Bank. Thank you, Franz Bakery. Thank you, Advocates Recovery Services. Also thank you to Trader Joe's and to Cottage Bakery who so generously support Edmonds Food Bank.

Mercy Watch were medical consultants for our Neighbors this morning. Nurse Gail and her team cared for 14 Neighbors.

Our medical teams, both Mercy Watch and Advocates Recovery Services provide moral support for our volunteer team. That is a very big deal. We couldn't do it without you.

Thanks for clothing donations!!! Our clothing team have created inventory organization that even Nordstroms would envy. Way to go, team!

Happy Valentine's Day!
