Hot coffee was REALLY popular this morning. Our Neighbors were more than happy to linger.
Thank you to the team from Holy Rosary Catholic Church for preparing burritos! We served 30 Neighbors and 2 families.
Thank you to Sue and Mark for being available to help our Neighbors find resources. They are helping more Neighbors each Saturday morning. Each case takes a lot of computer research to find current information. Then there is diligent follow-up. This service is a significant gift to our Neighbors.
Rick and Peggy were again busy helping Neighbors chose warm coats and water proof shoes. They never have enough men’s jeans in sizes 32 waist up to 38 waist. If you have extra, we would be grateful for your donation.
We share the sad news that Kelly Kingen has passed away. He was a guest at Neighbors in Need from our very first days. Our Neighbors will surely miss his friendship and mentoring. We volunteers will also miss his friendship and his gratitude for our care.
We are headed into a couple of very cold weeks. Please keep the Emergency Cold Weather teams in your prayers. They do life-saving service.
Peace be with you and yours.
