Greetings from the Church Council!
At our regular monthly meeting on January 18, we discussed several items related to how we move forward into the new year. Here are a few highlights:
We discussed the agenda and logistics for the congregational meeting on January 30. The meeting will include ministry-related updates, a presentation and affirmation of candidates for elected leadership positions, and a budget presentation and vote.
We finalized the list of council and committee candidates that will be presented to the congregation at the meeting.
We discussed the Synod Assembly in June and representatives we will send to that assembly.
We discussed an upcoming event that will support Afghan refugees.
We had a long and detailed discussion about the 2022 budget. We have some significant challenges with our aging facility, particularly the roof. Please come to one of our upcoming budget forums to learn about the details.
We pray for you, the congregation as a whole, and we thank God for each of you. We also ask for your prayers that God will grant us wisdom and direction as we continue to serve and work with you.
