WAY Student Ministries
follow Jesus.
Welcome!
Glad You're Here.
Relationships are our heartbeat. That's why our mission is "to grow a community that follows Jesus' path of love and service."
As a ministry of Trinity Lutheran Church & Schools, WAY provides programming for not only youth from Trinity, but also kids from the community with no church affiliation.
With weekly middle and high school opportunities to connect and grow, as well as retreats and special events, youth are provided the opportunity to develop and foster meaningful relationships with one another and with God.
Mission & Vision.
Our mission is to grow a community that follows Jesus' path of love and service.
Our vision is to see the teenage students of South Snohomish County and North King County discipled and equipped to share the love of Jesus with others in the community through actions, attitudes and story.
We earn the privilege to hear others tell their stories and be better able to support, assist and guide them in learning to tell their and Gods story better. We do this by developing relationships amongst and with teenagers and giving them a safe place to question and struggle with faith, life and relationships.
Our values:
-
God calls all ages, teenagers included, to serve God now
-
Each of us is gifted and called to serve in the Kingdom of God
-
Relationships are the way people are encouraged and welcomed
-
Hospitality is not an idea, it is a way to live
-
Service is how we approach the world, not with arrogance
-
Respecting God and each other is proclaiming the gospel
-
Community is a decision and takes work
