About the Initiative
Living Generously, Loving Boldly is Trinity Lutheran Church & Schools’ Fall 2025 generosity initiative, rooted in the words of Galatians 5:6: “The only thing that counts is faith working through love.” This season invites the community to reflect on how faith comes alive in daily life—through generosity, service, and love for one another.
Throughout October, worship, reflections, and stories will explore what it means to live generously and love boldly as individuals and as a congregation. Together, we are discerning how our shared gifts can strengthen Trinity’s ministries, support the growth of the Lynnwood Neighborhood Center, and extend Christ’s healing and transforming love into the wider community.
This initiative is not about obligation but about opportunity—an opportunity to celebrate God’s abundant grace and to respond with faithful commitment. Through prayer, financial pledges, and shared action, every gift helps nurture a community where belonging, compassion, and generosity take root and flourish.

Mission Giving Fund
We extend compassion beyond our walls through Trinity’s Mission Giving Fund, which designates 2% of our annual contribution income to support local ministry partners. In 2025, our congregation chose Cocoon House, providing shelter and support for youth experiencing homelessness, as the recipient of these gifts.
In 2026, we will again prayerfully select a Mission Giving Fund recipient (or recipients) whose work reflects God’s compassion in meaningful and transformative ways. Read more about each option, prayerfully presented by the Congregation Council, and make your voice heard on your commitment card.
