Sincere thanks to members of St. Philopateer St. Demiana Coptic Orthodox Church for being our cooks this morning! Also, for helping out in several additional places during the morning. Youth and adults alike are willing and generous servants.

It was a quieter morning; our pantry gave 71 bags rather than the recent 90+ that they have given in recent weeks. Special thanks to Edmonds Food Bank and to Advocates Recovery Services for generous donations of salads, freshly made sandwiches, and a variety of pastries. What luxury in a cup-a-noodles life.

Prayer Requests
Please pray for Sherie for the recovery of her cat. BamBam wandered away from Sherie’s campsite. He found his way back once before—may he do so again. BamBam is Sherie’s purpose.
Share with Chris in prayers of thanksgiving. He was seriously injured in an industrial accident. It’s been three years of surgeries and L&I claims. Even as a homeless man, he has avoided pain med addictions and has properly followed the detailed claims process. He will pick up his check for compensation on Monday. He will be able to reimburse the state for their work on his behalf; he will be able to afford housing; and he will begin training to do work that will accommodate limitations from his injuries.
We give thanks,
Joan for NiN volunteers
