Neighbors in Need Report + November 22, 2025

Saturday mornings get busier and busier. Today followed that trend. Our pantry gave 92 food bags, including Trader Joe's salads and fruit, and hoagie sandwiches supplied by Advocates Recovery Services. Edmonds Food Bank has recently been bringing us (along with a truck load of other nutrition) fresh Cottage Bakery breads. What a High-end treat for our families!

Our Team from Gloria Dei Lutheran were also busy. They served about 240 plates of biscuits and gravy, sausages, fruit and juices. Gloria Dei always includes special dog and cat treats. Thank you for honoring the emotional support that our Neighbors' pets provide.

The holidays are here already!! We will celebrate with our Neighbors on Saturday, December 20. On December 19 we will be assembling gift bags. We welcome donations of instant coffee packets, individual bags of chips or cookies, candy bars, and, of course, handwarmers, hats, gloves or socks. Donations can be dropped off at Trinity Monday through Thursday and, of course, on Saturday morning. Stop by for coffee or hot chocolate.

Our Neighbors were able to get cell phones this morning! Many free phone plans can only offer a sim card. Today's provider was able to also offer phones. Eight Neighbors can now access, family, service providers and safety.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Our Neighbors are vocally grateful for you.

Acknowledge our first nations who continue to share their land.
