What's Happening

Universal Human Rights Month invites us to reflect on the inherent dignity shared by all people.

Pemco employees, their friends and family members prepared at least 250 early morning breakfasts of scrambled eggs, hash brown patties, sausage links, oatmeal with brown sugar and raisins, and fruit juices. Our hungry crowd were sure grateful.

Beginning with World AIDS Day on December 1, the month of December invites global attention to HIV/AIDS—an epidemic that has shaped communities, families, and public health for more than four decades.

Our friends from St Philopateer St Demiana Coptic Orthodox congregation fed the largest crowd we have had in years. (We had to set up extra chairs!) Thank you for warm and plentiful breakfast for everyone.

Each October, we observe National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, recognizing the devastating impact of abuse in all its forms — physical, emotional, psychological, sexual, and financial.
